Paco, Paz, & Pepe are quickly becoming known as a famous threesome – first they shall take on the Caribbean, next – the World! Mwah ha ha… But seriously, they are HUGE on our island. 😉 Whether you call them the “Toucan Trio”, the “Three-Cans”, “The 3P’s”, or “Tres Tucanes” – we’re convinced that all good things come in threes.

Hear No Evil

This got us thinking of some of our other favorite trios. Here’s a short little list of our most memorable threesomes:

• Three’s Company’s Jack, Chrissy, & Janet – Confession: The Toucan Lady is notorious for singing this theme song (when no one is watching) to the Three-Cans. And they simply love it. Especially the part, altered for their genders, “the kisses are hers, and his, and his….”
• The Three Blind Mice – Poor little rodents should have stayed far away from that damn farmer’s wife.
• The Three Amigos – Oh, Chevy Chase, you slay us!
• The Chipmunks: Alvin, Simon, & Theodore – doo doo dooodooodooodoo… another song to be added to the repertoire. And a potential Halloween costume idea….

Speak No Evil

• Snap, Crackle, & Pop – strange little men + food making mysterious noises = one delicious breakfast cereal
• Goldilocks’ Three Bears – We also often suspect that somebody’s been eating our papaya – it disappears so quickly…
• The Three Little Pigs – We have no sympathy for those incompetent little oinkers. Building with no thought to the future is inexcusable. Our cages are reinforced for hurricane preparedness. No stupid wolf shall blow our house down.
• The Lion, the Tinman, & the Scarecrow – If toucans were a part of Dorothy’s entourage, we imagine they would be skipping along, singing, “If I only had some hands, doo doo doo doo doo doo…”
