  1. Thank you for your website. Finally, a website that is full of good information, that I understand. I got in touch with a breeder, I wanted a mynah, but ended up getting a ‘aracaris toucan’. I picked him up from the airport, brought him home, sat him on the bed in front of me, and said, “Now What?”.
Studied up on mynahs for yrs, I knew zero about Toucans. He’s been raising me for about 2 yrs now. No clipping here, he decided that if flight was to be the only defense, then it was only fair to keep it. He a sweetheart, I don’t know how I got along without him before.

    • Hi Becky,

Thanks so much for your note, I’m glad you found Toucanland. 🙂 An aracari is quite different from a mynah – wow! Sounds like you guys have sorted it out though, I’m glad you two are enjoying your life together. Feel free to post pictures anytime on our Facebook wall: http://www.facebook.com/adventuresintoucanland . I’d also be happy to answer any questions you have – it’s great to be a part of the toucan community to make a better life for the amazing birds in our care.

      Best wishes to you both,

      Chrissann & the Cans
